LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Court documents filed in a robbery investigation may shed some light on an unsolved murder in Lafayette.

Kory Rogers, 19, was found dead of a gunshot wound inside a house at 2200 Ottawa Drive on April 8, 2010.
A probable cause affidavit filed against Edward Zaragosa for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery also named Clint Laxton and Wesley Coffey, the subject of WLFI's Fugitive Search.
According to the documents, Laxton spoke with police at the scene of Rogers' shooting on April 8.
He told investigators he and Zaragosa were planning to go to Rogers' house and rob him of drugs and money in the week leading up to Rogers' murder.
As of now no formal charges have been filed in the murder of Kory Rogers.

Lafayette Police Detective B.T. Brown issued a statement saying...

"The Lafayette Police Department continues to investigate the homicide, and we are currently pursuing new leads with the assistance of Federal authorities, and those new leads are as-of last night."
