WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Two separate West Lafayette drug investigations net more than $12,000 cash overnight.

According to Lieutenant Troy Harris, the West Lafayette Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at the home of Andrew Haney Thursday night. There, they found more then $4,000 in cash, marijuana, prescription pills, and what police believe is ecstasy. Haney was arrested on multiple drug charges.

Early Friday morning, the unit served a separate search warrant at the home of Christopher Mar, finding marijuana and more than $8,000 cash. Mar was also arrested on drug charges.

Police said the investigations were separate, and the suspects did not have ties to each other. Harris reminded citizens they're encouraged to report illegal drug activity in the community, and can do so anonymously by using the We-Tip hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
