CASS COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Alert witnesses helped police catch a man accused of robbing a bank in Cass County.
Investigators from the Cass County Sheriff's Office said it all happened at the Salin Bank in Walton, about ten miles southeast of Logansport shortly after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses called 911 when they saw a person go into the bank wearing a ski mask and holding a weapon.
After the person left, they followed the suspect vehicle at some distance behind and relayed their location to officers. Other witnesses saw the person leave and gave deputies a partial plate number and a picture of the suspect vehicle.

28-year-old Christopher Sallee of Galveston, was arrested about ten minutes later about five miles away, on U.S. 35, just outside Galveston. He's charged with armed robbery and currently in the Cass County Jail on $25,000 surety bond or $5,000 cash.
