WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A West Lafayette man has been accused of stabbing another man early Saturday morning.
Investigators believe the incident occurred at the Presidential Villa Apartments on Cortez Drive in West Lafayette.
Deputies arrived on the scene of a reported disturbance around 1:15 a.m. However, no subjects related to the incident were found.
Later, Lafayette police were notified of a person with knife wounds who was being treated in the Emergency Room at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Central Hospital.
Investigators determined the stabbing was the result of a fight between 39-year-old Pablo Zepeda and 37-year-old Jose Loya.
Loya suffered superficial wounds to his hand, arms and chest.
Zepeda was arrested for Battery With A Deadly Weapon.
The case remains under investigation.
