Warrant for alleged child molester

BUCK CREEK, Ind. (WLFI) - Police are looking for a Buck Creek man who faces eight felony charges for allegedly molesting children in his care more than 10 years ago.

According to court documents, 28-year-old Chad E. Stewart was watching two children whom his sister usually babysat.

The two children were between six and eight years old at the time. They are now 17 and 19.

The documents say Stewart forced the children to touch him inappropriately and perform oral sex on him. The victims told police that Stewart said if they did not do these things he'd tie them to the railroad tracks near their home.

Stewart denied these reports, but failed a polygraph test last September. He later admitted to the crimes.

A warrant was issued for Stewart's arrest Friday, with a set bond of $50,000.
