LAFAYETTE, IN (WLFI) - A Lafayette Village Pantry was robbed by gunpoint overnight. It happened in the 400 block of North 14th Street.
Lafayette police received the call just after midnight.
According to police, the suspect wore a mask and displayed a semi-automatic handgun before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with a gray T-shirt underneath.
