TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - It's been a months-long wait for drivers in Tippecanoe County and now the wait is over.
Crews with the Indiana Department of Transportation spent the day Thursday putting finishing touches on the U.S. 52 westbound lane reconstruction project.
Westbound lanes between Schuyler Avenue and the Wabash River were opened to traffic at 5:30 Thursday night.
Traffic in eastbound lanes will remain restricted to one lane while crews install pavement markings.
