HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A former Broad Ripple teacher who was charged with possession of child pornography was sentenced Monday to 730 days in jail and 640 days probation.
According to Hamilton County Superior Court 5, Robert Fowler, who was once charged with nine counts, entered a plea agreement to one count of possession of child pornography.
Fowler was ordered to surrender all Indiana teacher licenses and will be placed on the sex offender registry.
Fowler was a Broad Ripple High School math teacher and was arrested at the school. He allegedly received pornographic images of infants and children via e-mail. He then saved those images to his computer, according to court documents.
