Suspect in hospital after attempted robbery

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - An attempted robbery ends with the suspect in the hospital.
It all happened shortly after 2:00 Wednesday afternoon in Krannert Hall.
Police said a man had broken into an office and was trying to steal valuables.
Several witnesses, including students, chased the man out of the building where officers arrested him near the intersection of State and Grant streets.
Police said the suspect, 50-year-old James Anthony Parker, complained of chest pains and was taken to the hospital.
