Quick: 2000 molestation case reopened
No charges filed in Frankfort case

LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI) - A man at the center of a child molesting case in Fountain County is now under investigation for similar crimes nine years ago in Frankfort.
Frankfort Police Detective Jeff Ward said his department is reviewing a 2000 report of child molesting against 32-year-old Stephen Quick. Quick used to live in Frankfort.
Detective Ward said Quick was accused of molesting two children, ages 3 and 4, in 2000.
Ward said the prosecutor at that time chose not to file charges.
The department has assigned a detective to the case to work with Clinton County Prosecutor Tony Sommer on how to proceed.
Sommer said he is reviewing information, but has not yet decided if he will file charges in the case.
Quick is awaiting trial in Fountain County, where he is accused of molesting and videotaping four young children.
His girlfriend, Samatha Light, was sentenced Wednesday to 125
years in prison for her role in the crimes.
