Southside Lafayette bank robbed, suspect on the loose

Lafayette, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette Police were called at 1:30 p.m. Thursday to a robbery at the Lafayette Bank and Trust at 2862 Old U.S. 231.
Police said an unidentified male suspect is at large at this hour. Police said the suspect is a black male about 6 feet tall, 25-30 years of age.
They also said they do not yet know how much money the suspect was able to take, or if he even got away with any money.
WLFI has crews on the scene and will bring updated information as soon as it is available.
