TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A West Lafayette man faces charges after prosecutors say he got behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level at nearly twice the legal limit with a suspended license – crashing into another car and sending a woman to the hospital.
Court documents say on Sept. 27, 2012, 28-year-old Sean Lyman was traveling north in a pickup truck on US 231 near US 52.
Lyman went across US 52 and crashed his truck into another moving vehicle.
The woman driving the other vehicle was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital to be treated for multiple rib fractures and chest pain.
Lyman faces several charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while suspended.
