LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette Police have asked for help in the investigation of a February armed robbery.
Police have released photos from a Circle K gas station surveillance camera. They said the man in these images robbed the station at 3112 Ferry Street in Lafayette on February 22.
Lafayette Police Detective Mark Pinkert said it is possible the photos show two separate men, as the man's build appears different in some photos.
Police said a robber hit the female clerk with a hunting-type rifle, but the clerk refused treatment at the scene.
The robber left with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 5'10" to 6' in height, and weighing between 170 and 190 pounds.
He has a thin beard with longer hair on the chin.
If you can provide information, call the Lafayette Police at (765) 807-1200 or the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
