Person shot on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A person was shot on the city's northwest side Sunday night.

Dispatchers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say a man was shot in the chest on the 4900 block of Brock Street shortly after 10 p.m.

The man was found shot in the doorway.

Police say he was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in serious condition.

Homicide was called to the scene.
