One dead, one injured after shooting at Don's Guns

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police say one person is dead and one person was sent to the hospital after an incident at Don's Guns.

Police were dispatched to the 3800 black of Lafayette Road just before 12:30 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, the found that two people had been shot inside the gun shop.

Officials said a man came in to test a gun. When he went to return the gun, a clerk gave him a bill and the man shot the clerk for no apparent reason. The clerk returned fire, shooting and killing the man. The clerk, Ben Chance, was shot twice. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
