Murder, prostitution charge filed after Jasper County death

JASPER CO., Ind. (WLFI) - A Chicago man has been charged with killing a woman in Jasper County.

Nathan Huey-Dingle, 30, faces five felony charges in the death of 20-year-old Rachael Woods of South Bend.

Indiana State Troopers responded to a 911 call on the shoulder of Interstate 65 early Thursday morning. 

Woods was found with injuries consistent with battery. She was airlifted to Indianapolis where she later died.

Huey-Dingle was initially arrested on an outstanding warrant.

He now faces seven additional charges. The five felonies are murder, aggravated battery, promoting prostitution, intimidation and criminal confinement. He also faces two misdemeanor counts of operating while intoxicated.
