LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Tippecanoe County Prosecutor Pat Harrington said Steven Cox, 27, was found guilty Thursday of two felony charges including dealing meth within 1,000 feet of a school after a two-day jury trial.

Earlier, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of possession of paraphernalia and operating while suspended.

Harrington said last January, a traffic stop led police to neighboring apartments at 12th and Brown where they discovered meth and items commonly used to make meth. The apartments are located within 1,000 feet of several schools.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 5.
