LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A mixed verdict was delivered this week in the trial of a Lafayette man on felony drug charges.
31-year-old Jeremy Rigney was found guilty of Narcotic Possession, being a Habitual Traffic Violator and Habitual Substance Abuser and Possession of Paraphernalia.
But he was found not guilty of Narcotic Dealing and possessing a syringe.
Rigney was stopped by police on State Road 26 East for having an expired license plate.
Police say he was a habitual traffic violator at the time.
Police say they found heroin on Rigney and in the car.
He faces up to 22 years in prison when he's sentenced next month.
