Man charged with abuse of corpse, murder

CARLISLE, Ind. (WLFI) - A Michigan City man faces charges in connection with a cold case murder.
38-year-old Johnnathan Fuller faces several charges, including murder and abuse of corpse.
Indiana State Police say the case began in 2009.
The following year, investigators recovered bones and clothing from a shallow grave.
This year, DNA identified the victim as Sylvia Marie Jones.
State Police say statements made by Fuller during an arrest in 2009 provided a connection to the murder.
Fuller remains behind bars at the Wabash Correctional Facility on an unrelated felony.
