TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Registered sex offenders in Tippecanoe County are being required to attend a meeting during tomorrow's trick-or-treating hours.

Kipp Scott, with the county probation department, said the purpose of the meeting is to check addresses, verify employment, and perform DNA tests and drug screens.

Scott said the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department will be making sure each person is properly registered in the sex offender registry, and the Community and Family Resource Center will be presenting information to assist in rehabilitation.

Scott said all sex offenders in Tippecanoe County are required to attend the meeting from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. tomorrow night at the County Extension Office at 3150 Sagamore Parkway South in Lafayette.
