LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a man convicted of trying to steal prescription drugs from an individual walking near downtown Lafayette.
Levi J. Foster, 23, is the subject of this week's Fugitive Search. He is 5'9", 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Lafayette Police Detective Matt Devine said this case stems from a March 2004 report of a robbery in the 700 block of Brown Street. "The victim in this case sustained some facial injuries," said Devine. "The suspect in this case was trying to rob the victim of some prescription medication. As a result of the ensuing investigation, Levi Foster was charged with Attempted Robbery and plead guilty to that offense."
Detective Matt Devine said a warrant was issued for Foster's arrest after he failed to complete road crew, which was part of his sentence.
