Fugitive Search - Jovan Washington

LAFAYETTE, Ind (WLFI) - A man convicted of robbery is the subject of this week's Fugitive Search. 

Jovan Washington is a 18-year-old black male. He is 5'8", 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Lafayette Police Detective Matt Devine said this case stems from an armed robbery in February 2008 at a shoe store on State Road 38 east.

"After further investigation, Jovan Washington was arrested and charged for his involvement in this." said Devine. "He was originally charged with armed robbery, but plead guilty to robbery. He received a combination of incarceration and probation." 

In June a warrant was issued for Washington's arrest.  Detective Devine said Washington failed to return to work release.
