LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - 17-year-old Gabriel Ruiz of Lafayette faces seven felony charges including residential entry, theft and burglary.
Court documents reveal Ruiz was arrested several times between mid-July and early August.
Investigators said on separate occasions he stole from two area businesses, broke into a home and stole items, and also stole a car.
He was waived to the adult criminal court system from the juvenile on Sept. 7.
As of Monday, he remains in the Tippecanoe County Jail.
