WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A Monticello man involved in a standoff with White County deputies last year went before a judge Friday to enter a plea agreement.
Christian Condo, 33, faces six felony charges including attempted murder.
He's accused of firing shots out of a window in his home at White County deputies in March of last year. It happened while four children were in the home.
Condo pleaded guilty to criminal recklessness and neglect of a dependent, two of the six felonies he faces. A White County judge rejected that plea agreement Friday afternoon.
Condo and his wife were in the process of getting a divorce at the time of the incident. In court, family members said that process was difficult. Condo also said in court that he had suicidal thoughts at the time of the incident.
Condo is out of jail on bond. A date for his new hearing has not been set.
