WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) - A gas station clerk in Williamsport was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.
Williamsport Town Marshal Ted Latoz said it all happened around 8:15 p.m. when a female clerk at the Marathon gas station on State Road 28 East was taking the trash out. Latoz said a man approached the clerk, displayed a gun, and forced her back into the gas station. She then opened the cash register and gave the man money.
Latoz said the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask and dark pants.
Latoz said if you have any information on the robbery, contact your local authorities.
