LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police are asking for your help finding a man wanted for leading police on a pursuit.

43-year-old Jeffrey Evans is the focus of this week's Fugitive Search. He's 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about  170 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police said in 2009, officers responded to a domestic disturbance call involving Evans. Before officers arrived, Evans fled the scene and led officers on a car chase which ended in Dayton.

"As a result of that, he was charged with Resisting Law Enforcement, Operating While Intoxicated and Criminal Recklessness," said Lafayette Police Technician Matt Devine.

Evans is wanted on two warrants, one with the Department of Corrections and one with the Lafayette Police Department.

If you have any information about his whereabouts, call Lafayette police at 807-1200 or the anonymous We-Tip hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
