LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police are asking for the public's help to find a man wanted for violating probation twice.
26-year-old Demetri Barbee is the subject of this week's Fugitive Search. Barbee is a black male who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.
Police said a warrant was issued this month after Barbee violated probation from a 2009 case. In that case, Barbee pleaded guilty to theft and being a habitual offender.
In July of this year, Barbee pleaded guilty to a drug violation. He was sentenced to Community Corrections for 317 days. He violated that sentence and another warrant was issued for his arrest.
If you have any information about Barbee's location, call Lafayette Police at 807-1200, or the anonymous We-Tip hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
