LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police are asking for your help to find a man who officers said failed to appear in court.
Police said Christopher Lawson, 26, is a 6-foot-3-inch white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He weighs around 250 pounds.
In July 2011, officers said Lawson was identified in a drug investigation. In June of 2012, while waiting for trial, Lawson did not appear for a scheduled court hearing and a warrant was issued.
Police said Lawson is also wanted in another area.
"He's got a unrelated case out of Carroll County with an active warrant. So I don't know if he has ties in the Carroll County area," said Lafayette Police Detective Mike Humphrey.
Anyone with information on Lawson's whereabouts can contact the Lafayette Police Department at (765) 807-1200 or the anonymous WeTip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
