CASS COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Federal charges have been dismissed for one of the people involved in a massive drug raid last summer.
Christopher Calisto of Twelve Mile in Cass County was one of 14 people facing federal charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana.
Calisto's attorney Matthew Barrett said through negotiations with the U.S. Attorney the charges have been dismissed.
Barrett said five of the 14 people pleaded guilty. The others are set to stand trial in April.
As News 18 reported in July, 29 people were arrested in a massive drug raid which originated in Cass County. Police seized 13 pounds of marijuana, along with cocaine, LSD, and illegal mushrooms. They also took firearms, 10 vehicles, two jet skis and $34,000 in cash.
