GREATER LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The numbers are in from the recent "Operation Pull Over" blitz conducted by various law enforcement agencies.
Between Lafayette, West Lafayette and Purdue police departments, along with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office,18 people were arrested for misdemeanor operating while intoxicated charges.
Four others were arrested for a felony charge of operating while intoxicated.
Police say multiple other drivers were arrested or cited for driving with a suspended license or other traffic offenses.
Officers and deputies worked a total of 195 overtime hours during the blitz.
The number of arrests does not include people arrested by officers and deputies not working overtime.
