LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A check of access points to the Wabash River led to an arrest for drug charges this weekend.
According to Indiana Conservation Officer Matt Tholen, 42-year-old James M. Hill was booked on multiple drug charges Friday morning.
Tholen said he was checking public access points to the Wabash, when he saw Hill in a vehicle next to the boat ramp at the Granville Public Access. Tholen saw marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view, and found more drugs after searching the vehicle.
Hill was booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail, and has since bonded out.
