TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Deputies with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office were called to a mobile home in the 800 block of Candlelight Plaza on a report of a stabbing.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Deputies said when they got to the scene, several people were trying to leave the area in a minivan driven by Breana Cannon, 21. One of the passengers of the van, 19-year-old Demetrie Russell, had a stab wound to the chest.
Deputies discovered Cannon and Russell had been arguing. Investigators said Cannon and Russell poured orange drink on each other and at some point during the altercation Russell got a stab wound he claims was self-inflicted.
Detectives said there is insufficient evidence to make an arrest at this time.
