FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE/AP) - A DeKalb County man was arrested by state and federal authorities on Tuesday for allegedly starting a fire at the Islamic Center in Toledo on Sunday.

Arrest warrants were issued out of Ohio for Randy T. Linn, 52, of St. Joe, Indiana.

At around 3:30 pm, two Indiana State Troopers and federal agents arrested Linn in a parking lot in the 7600 block of Opportunity Drive after receiving information he could be found where he worked.

Linn faces two counts of Arson, a charge of Aggravated Burglary and a charge of Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Linn was taken to the Allen County Jail where he's facing extradition back to Ohio.

Ohio fire marshal's office spokesman Shane Cartmill told The Blade of Toledo that investigators believe Linn is the person recorded by a surveillance camera outside the center.

The fire caused smoke and water damage at the mosque that sits along Interstate 75 near Toledo and has a golden dome that is visible for miles.

Authorities have not said what the motive for the crime might have been.
