MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - Indiana State Police have arrested a Crawfordsville man charged with six counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, all of which are Class B felonies.
According to ISP, at roughly 5:45 p.m. Jan. 19, 53-year-old Donald D. McCalment from Crawfordsville was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail by Indiana State Police Senior Trooper Detective Stephen Buckley.
The six felony charges McCalment faces stem from an investigation by Detective Buckley that was started earlier in January.
The investigation alleges McCalment had had sexual contact on several occasions with a child under the age of 18 for about 2 years.
McCalment’s bond is set at $10,000 surety or $5,000 cash.
Assisting with the case was Montgomery County Division of Children and Family Services, Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
