MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - An arrest is made in a Monticello murder case.
Monticello Police said 21-year-old Ray Chamorro of Schererville was arrested for the shooting death of Tye Rentfrow.
Rentfrow was shot to death at a home on West Washington Street on Oct. 4. Several neighbors reported hearing gunshots. When officers arrived, they discovered that Rentfrow had been shot in the torso. He was pronounced dead at IU White Memorial Hospital.
Chamorro is being held without bond in the White County Jail on a preliminary charge of murder.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
