The clerk told Lafayette police three black males entered the store. One of them allegedly displayed a handgun.
The clerk was not hurt during the incident; however, the suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash, according to Sgt. Brian Phillips. Sgt. Phillips said it's believed the suspects got away in a vehicle.

In both cases, the men fled the area. They are on the lookout for the getaway vehicle, which is possibly a black Pontiac Grand Am.
Officers said they do have a good lead on just who these robbers are, thanks to surveillance.
"We do have surveillance video in all the different stores and we are looking, like I said, to identify all the suspects involved," said Jeff Webb, Lafayette police officer.
