LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - According to the Lafayette Police Department, three suspects related to the recent bank robberies in Lafayette and Frankfort were arrested on Wednesday.
At 61 Walnut St. in Lafayette, Lafayette Police say 48-year-old Ronald Eugene Corbin was arrested and booked in to the Tippecanoe County Jail for robbery while armed with a deadly weapon and possession of stolen property. Corbin’s arrest is directly related to the Huntington Bank Robbery that occurred on Oct. 18 in Lafayette.
Police arrested two suspects at 1318 Sinton St. in Lafayette. Police say 20-year-old Christopher Dean Clemons was arrested for robbery and possession of stolen property and was booked in to the Tippecanoe County Jail. His arrest is directly related to the Huntington Bank Robbery on Oct. 18 in Lafayette, along with the Regions Bank Robbery in Frankfort on Oct. 26.
Police also arrested Tiffany Corbin for conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of stolen property. Tiffany Corbin was booked in to the Clinton County Jail. Tiffany’s arrest is directly related to the Frankfort Robbery. Additional charges in Tippecanoe County for her are pending.
The arrests were a result of a joint investigation between the Lafayette Police Department and the Frankfort Police Department. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
