6-week investigation leads to 7 arrests

JASPER COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A six-week investigation by the Jasper County Sheriff's Department leads to seven arrests.

21-year-old Matthew D. Bowman of Springfield, Illinois, 23-year-old Alex B. DeKock of Lake Village, 31-year-old Lucinda J. Lane of Wheatfield, 20-year-old Brett Volk of Wheatfield, 19-year-old Anna Williams of Wheatfield, 49-year-old Greg Wyrick of Rensselaer, and 47-year-old Mary Wyrick of Rensselaer were arrested.

Charges include possession of heroin and hypodermic needles as well as maintaining a common nuisance and dealing controlled substances.

Three children were turned over to protective services.
