KOKOMO, Ind. (AP) - A car plowed through a wall into a central Indiana church after police say the driver suffered a medical problem.
No injuries were reported inside the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Kokomo from the Sunday afternoon crash.
Police tell the Kokomo Tribune that the car went through several yards, smashed a mailbox and went across a road before running into the church's brick yard. The impact left the car almost fully inside what is a classroom at the church.
Police say the driver was conscious after the crash, but officers didn't immediately release the man's identity or any condition information.
Senior pastor Bill Allison says the room had been filled with about 50 women attending a Bible study class earlier in the day.
