WHITE COUNTY - In an up-date, the sheriff's department said the investigation started Monday after an officer found a red, Chrysler PT Cruiser parked in the front yard of a house on Norway Trail, one mile from Claypool's house.

Police found out the vehicle was registered to Claypool.
Officers called Claypool's house at 2352 North Sullivan Court, but there was no answer. Later, they went to her house and found Claypool's body.
Coroner Mike Ott said an autopsy was performed yesterday. No results have been released.
A neighbor said Claypool was a retired Roosevelt Middle School teacher who kept to herself.
White County Prosecutor Robert Guy said he believes Claypool's house was broken into.

Guy asks that anyone with information speak with Detective Pat Shafer at the White County Sheriff's Department. He can be reached at 574-583-2251 or 574-583-7103.
