INDIANA (WLFI) - A company planning to build wind farms in central Indiana is asking for property tax breaks on the project.
Chicago-based E-On Climate and Renewables plans on building more than 300 turbines in Madison, Tipton, Howard and Grant counties.
The company has asked Howard County officials for a 10-year tax abatement as it will be spending roughly $250 million on the turbines in Howard County alone.
