INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Purdue experts will number among presenters at the 2013 Indiana Green Expo. It will feature a variety of workshops, sessions and exhibits for horticulture, turf science and business professionals.
The conference and trade show is happening Jan. 9 through 11 at the Indiana Convention Center (100 S. Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis).
Participants can attend sessions in educational tracks such as sports turf, landscape design, plant materials, law care, vegetation management and business, presented by speakers from regional universities and businesses.
Twenty-four faculty and staff members from Purdue are slated to speak at the event.
More workshops and keynote sessions will cover topics such as improving diagnostic skills, selecting and planting improved cultivars, news and updates in the green industry. The trade show, featuring regional and national businesses, will be held Jan. 10 and 11.
Early registration is due by Friday, Dec. 21, but regular registration is also available after that date, without a discounted rate.
