PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - An Indiana nature magazine will feature a nearby state park in its next issue, heralding it as one of the best canoeing and kayaking destinations in Indiana.

Outdoor Indiana magazine’s March-April issue features Tippecanoe River State Park in northeast Pulaski County.

Watch a quick video on the park on the Outdoor Indiana playlist.

The article draws out the magazine’s series in which one state park or reservoir property is portrayed through 2016, which is the 100th anniversary of Indiana state parks.

The magazine also includes a cover feature on the massive bird migration that takes place at Indiana Dunes State Park, where bird watchers can view about 30,000 birds per day in March and April.

You can nab a copy of the magazine at most Department of Natural Resources properties and at Barnes & Noble stores in Indiana for $3 per copy.

You can also subscribe online and read excerpts here, or try calling 317-233-3046.
