Join live DNR chat to get nature questions answered

INDIANA (WLFI) - You can chat in real-time with an environmental expert this week.
Facebook followers of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources can “talk” online about the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation (INRF) with executive Director Bourke Patton from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday on the DNR’s Facebook wall.
INRF is the fundraising section of the DNR. Funds are used to create, protect and restore Indiana’s lands, endangered species, outreach programs and wildlife habitats.
Past projects have included the acquisition of Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area and the Hoosier Outdoor Experience.
Participants are invited to join the talk, even if only for a few minutes, and bring your questions about INRF.
You can find future topics, instructions on how to join a conversation on Facebook, and commenting guidelines by heading to the DNR website.
To join Thursday’s chat, head to Indiana’s DNR Facebook wall and click “like” (if you aren’t already a “friend”).
Participants can begin by typing in questions during the time slot. The DNR expert will answer as many questions as time allows.
