INDIANAPOLIS (WLFI) - One of Indiana’s outdoor literary publications will be featuring a fishing and birding hot spot this month.
Outdoor Indiana magazine’s January-February issue features Summit Lake State Park located near New Castle in Henry County.
You can watch a brief video on the park here.
The article in the magazine continues a series in which one state park or reservoir property is portrayed through 2016, the 100th anniversary of Indiana state parks.
You will also be taken inside the Department of Natural Resources’ Law Enforcement Recruit School with the cover story of the magazine, which explains what it takes to be an Indiana conservation officer.
Outdoor Indiana magazine is available at most DNR properties and Barnes & Noble stores in Indiana for $3 per copy.
To subscribe to the magazine or see excerpts, head to Outdoor Indiana’s website or call 317-233-3046.
