West Lafayette's green year so far

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The city of West Lafayette has planned five projects that have a positive effect on the environment. West Lafayette mayor John Dennis joins us in the studio to tell us more.

Mayor John Dennis explains the progress that has been made in the community since the January 2009 launch of the "Green" year long intitiative with WLFI and West Lafayette Go Greener Commission. He talked about past and future green projects that West Lafayette is aiming toward, as well as a resolution was passed to go forward with the CLEAN program through IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management). The passing of the CLEAN program will lead to future Green projects within the city.
