INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) - Governor Mitch Daniels said he will re-enroll the state in the national Recreational Trails Program (RTP).
The program has provided $14.5 million for more than 100 trail projects around the country.
Daniels said RTP will continue to help fund the Hoosiers on the Move program which Daniels put in place in 2006 and aims to put a trail within 7 and a half or 15 minutes from every Hoosier.
Daniels said the Hoosiers on the Move program will be completed within two years.
