LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Bryan Price is the executive chef at Bluefin Bistro .
Why did you start cooking?
I became interested in the profession of food at an early age by watching my Mom cook for our family. It was amazing watching her take care of all of us and I fell in love with cooking through the experience. I became very passionate about food and started right out the gates in the industry. It was a fairly typical start working behind the oven at a pizzeria and I slowly moved up and up, learning as I went.
What’s your favorite cooking tip?
Consistency. I have a personal creed- take your time on every part of the dish. Do it right the first time no matter how long it takes. The moment you start rushing through a piece of the dish, you are already in trouble and the odds that it will come out the way you want are very low.
What’s your favorite thing to eat?
RIBS! I like them smoked, barbequed, anyway you can cook them.
