INDIANA (WLFI) - Eye on Kids is a year-long project months in the making. WLFI, with the help of several area sponsors, will examine and investigate a range of topics that apply to children’s affairs.

The goal is to bring attention to children’s issues and help bring change to better kids’ lives.

Each month, WLFI will air stories on a different topic, ranging from childhood health to bullying.

Here’s a list of each month’s topics.

January: Food, nutrition and exercise
February: Child programs
March: Bullying
April: Child abuse and neglect
May: Parental involvement
June: Read to Succeed
July: Tools for School
August: Bullying, revisited
September: Limited educational resources
October: Domestic Violence Awareness Month
November: Holidays (options for low-income families for gifts, donation options, etc.)
December: Drugs and alcohol

If you know of any events, programs or people involved in the above topics for children, we want to know! Send information to newsroom@wlfi.com or internet18@wlfi.com.
