Purdue’s Board of Trustees, as required by state law regarding a minimum of 48 hours notification to the public, made an announcement this morning of its intent to vote on the new president on Thursday.
The trustees will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday in Stewart Center's Loeb Playhouse to vote on the candidate nominated to be the University's 12th president.
There has no public announcement as to who that candidate will be. However, the Indianapolis Star and WISH-TV, are reporting today that Gov. Mitch Daniels is the selection.
